What's Happening
Some of the world’s oldest known astrological texts emerge from the Fertile Crescent, the land between the rivers, ancient Mesopotamia. Here began the visual tracking of omens on the dome of the sky, as the pronunciations of the gods, and their immanent correlations to terrestrial events. Everything under the Sun, from comets, to haloes, and from meteors to eclipses, was meticulously tracked over centuries of cycle observations. After millennia, they compiled thousands of omens of all kinds of celestial phenomena, and developed a comprehensive system for interpreting sky omens for the world. We will look at how these omens and their style of reading the sky are extremely useful in both mundane and natal astrology, for general and timing-based predictions. From more lesser-known omens like rainbows and comets, to the most powerful heliacal risings of the planets and eclipses of the luminaries, we will uncover the most ancient secrets of correlating sky phenomena to earthly events!
