CAELi COVID Health and Safety Plan
The Celestial Arts Education Library will soon open its doors. Once you become a member, you will be able to enjoy a space filled with astrology books from nearly all facets of astrological practice in the Western lineage.
We require all new and renewing members to review our COVID-19 policy plan to ensure the health and safety of our staff and fellow members.
CAELi would like to welcome our new and renewing members! We look forward to seeing you in-person again soon. Based on the current Washington State Reopening Plan, CAELi is permitted to open our library for in-person services on a limited basis. On June 30, 2021, Washington state moved beyond the Roadmap to Recovery Phased Reopening to fully reopen.
CAELi will be open for members beginning on Wednesday, October 01, 2021. We will initially be open 12 PM-6 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. All members must sign up ahead of time for a time slot so that we can monitor the number of members in the library.
As part of our reopening, we have several new building and library rules. All members must abide by these rules to ensure CAELi compliance with the local, state, and federal regulations and best practices.
Face Coverings – All members, staff, and visitors to the building must wear face masks at all times.
Health Checks – Anyone not feeling well should not come to the building.
Social Distancing – Members must maintain a safe social distance of at least six feet from one another. All library furniture takes this into account, and no one is permitted to move or change the furniture layout.
Food & Beverages – No food or beverages are allowed in the library at this time.
Please note that CAELi has a zero-tolerance policy for any infractions. First and foremost, we want to protect the health and wellbeing of all members and staff. Therefore, please note that any refusal to abide by these rules may result in immediate dismissal from the library and potential termination of membership benefits.
While the library is open for work, we strongly recommend that you continue to view our catalog online even if you plan to visit, so that we can have your books and materials ready when you arrive. This will help us maintain social distancing requirements and additionally facilitate safer materials checkout.
Additionally, our library windows may be open to facilitate air circulation, so we encourage you to wear layers or warm clothing when you visit the library during the cold months.

CAELi Library Access
Access to our reading rooms is restricted to help slow the spread of COVID-19 as per the Washington State Reopening Plan. Beginning on Wednesday September 1st, 2021, we will reopen with limited seating available for reading or using one’s own electronic devices. Seating will be available in the Main Reading Room and Work Room. A face mask must be worn at all times. Review our Health and Safety Plan above before you visit.
CAELi Programs
At this time all of our programs will continue to be presented online via Zoom. Everyone can sign up for our public programs and are encouraged to join with a membership to take advantage of the special deals for our upcoming events. Recordings of our past programs will be available to members only via our YouTube and Vimeo channels.
